Swinney Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious and stylish cottage with beautifully proportioned rooms, sleeping four guests.
One enters through the large kitchen / dining room into the hall. Downstairs there is a cloakroom and a very large, elegant sitting room with wood-burning stove, where french windows lead out on to terrace and lawns.
Upstairs the double bedroom has a super-king-size bed and an en-suite. There is also a twin bedroom which can be made up as a king-size bed; this bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with a bath and power shower.
Swinney Cottage offers a superb base from which to explore the Northumbrian coast and countryside.

This 5-star holiday cottage offers outstanding luxury accommodation for a self-catering holiday in Northumberland.
Access is gained through a large kitchen / dining room which is furnished with an oak refectory table and six oak chairs. The whole room is bathed in natural light from a vast Georgian window.
From the hall, one enters a very large elegant sitting room with large windows on two sides. French windows lead out from the sitting room to a terrace and lawns. Adjoining the hall is a convenient downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs there is a vast double bedroom with four windows to bathe the room in natural light. This bedroom comprises a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. An armchair makes this a great spot for a quiet afternoon nap!
The sleeping accommodation is completed by a twin bedroom that can be made up as a double bed if preferred (if this cottage is let to a couple, the beds in the twin bedroom will be made up as singles by default, so please ask if you prefer the double option) and an adjoining bathroom with a bath and power shower.
