Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury’s and M&S Food in Alnwick are all close by and are open until 8.00pm (Monday to Saturday) and between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Sundays.
Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s offer delivery to Doxford Farm Cottages. If you would like a food delivery to arrive at your cottage on the day of your arrival, please arrange a delivery time (directly with them) after you have booked in, as we can’t guarantee to be available to accept delivery on your behalf.
As we are in a rural area, many taxi firms do ‘school runs’ and are therefore only available at certain times of day. It is, therefore, advisable to book your taxi journeys in advance.
