Formerly the gamekeeper’s cottage, Fox Cover has been remodelled and refurbished to create a stylish holiday cottage for a couple. Fox Cover is situated across one level and is suitable for wheelchair access throughout.
Featuring a large open plan living area, Fox Cover has a superbly-equipped oak kitchen with granite surfaces, along with a dining table for four guests.
The lounge area is beautiful decorated and includes a wood-burning stove to complete this cosy country cottage.
Fox Cover offers beautiful views of the lake through dappled trees as you relax in the conservatory, or from the private terrace.
The bedroom may be made up with a double or twin beds and the en-suite bathroom has a bath, roll-in shower, washbasin and WC.

Fox Cover is the ideal dog-friendly holiday cottage for a couple, and offers outstanding luxury self-catering accommodation for a relaxing holiday in Northumberland. Designed as a one-bedroom holiday cottage, Fox Cover provides ample living space with stunning rural views from the conservatory and private terrace that look out towards Doxford Lake.
Fox Cover is entered through a conservatory into a huge open-plan living area measuring 29ft in length. One end of the open-plan area has a fully-fitted kitchen with granite worktops, tiled floor and oak dining table to seat four guests. As in all the cottages at Doxford Cottages, the kitchen is fully-equipped; we have thought of everything a cook could possibly require for a superb break.
The light and airy sitting room has a wood-burning stove. There is an LCD smart television, Wi-Fi, and a good selection of books to enjoy.
The double bedroom is superbly appointed and offers a choice when booking of either a super-king-size bed or two single beds. The en-suite bathroom has a bath and a roll-in shower, toilet and basin. For guests needing accessibility, there is ample room for a wheelchair.
