This is the original farmhouse of Doxford Home Farm; an exceptionally spacious house offering comfort, tranquility and style for up to eight guests. Doxford House is a wonderful base for exploring Northumberland with family and friends.
Accommodation comprises a large drawing room with wood-burning stove, sitting room and garden room. All three rooms offer open views of the rural location, whilst the south-facing garden room has a stunning outlook through the trees to Doxford Lake. The large farmhouse kitchen is superbly equipped with granite worktops and a full range of modern cooking equipment.
As with all the cottages at Doxford, we provide first-rate fixtures and fittings, as well as plenty of books for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Doxford House is an exceptionally spacious cottage offering the very best in self-catering accommodation.
There are three seating areas within Doxford House, which comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The large, elegant drawing room has a wood-burning stove, and there is also a separate sitting room and garden room. French windows open from the drawing room and garden room on to a south-facing terrace with stunning views through the glade to the lake. All three rooms offer open views, comfortable seating and superb fixtures and fittings.
The large farmhouse kitchen is fantastically well equipped with granite worktops and a full range of modern cooking equipment, including an American-style fridge and range cooker.
Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with a super-king-size bed and en-suite shower room; a twin bedroom with zip-link beds (which can optionally be made up as a double) and an en-suite shower room; and a third twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The fourth twin bedroom is very spacious and is equipped with a family bathroom with bath and shower.
