Cragside is a National Trust property in Rothbury, Northumberland, a 30-minute drive from Doxford Cottages. While you are here you can visit Cragside House, a Victorian House created by Lord and Lady Armstrong, which is an incredible step back in time. All of the gardens and grounds are open to exploring and are truly beautiful.

At Cragside there are also two lakes you can take a stroll around before heading to the tearoom for a spot of lunch. There is also a labyrinth, Trim Trail and children’s play area, making it the perfect day out for the whole family.
